See Christopher Plummer on opening night for only $50!

by Christi Rutledge

Have you been dying to see Mr. Plummer’s one-man show, A Word or Two?

I was able to sneak into a rehearsal performance this past week and it was absolutely breathtaking.  For ninety minutes you will find yourself transported into the world of Christopher Plummer’s imagination as he intimately shares his life story through some of the greatest literature ever written.  He begins with Lewis Carroll’s wonderful poem “I’ll tell thee everything I can,” painting an image that reoccurs frequently throughout the show and goes on to do just what that opening line promises.  From the sacred to the profane, from Stephen Leacock and A.A. Milne to Ben Jonson and the Bible, these selections of poetry and prose reflect a life-long love affair with the written word.

With beautiful allusions and imagery woven throughout the script and a magical set that features a winding staircase of novels, this stunning production is sure to captivate you.  Do not miss your chance to see one of our greatest living classical actors on stage this season!
