Seasonal Housekeepers-Maintenance Department

Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager, Maintenance Housekeepers will be required to perform daily cleaning and building maintenance duties both inside and outside of the Stratford Festival’s facilities.  Additionally, these positions will deliver packages, boxes, supplies, etc. to departments and/or storage areas.

Successful candidates will have experience in building maintenance and housekeeping duties.  You should have knowledge of the use of cleaning and floor finishing products.  Knowledge of the use of maintenance equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, etc. is considered an asset.

These unionized positions are primarily scheduled on weekends, some evenings may be included.  Additionally, candidates must be available Monday to Friday to cover vacation periods and sick days for full-time, as required.  These positions will finish with the close of the season on October 30, 2011, with the possibility of call-ins to work after that date.
